Washington, DC – February 26, 2024 - The Leapfrog Group announced a new certification program for individuals to become a Leapfrog Certified Coach for the Hospital Survey. This certification is for solution providers and innovative partners who offer services, products, and technology designed to improve patient safety and health care quality in the thousands of hospitals nationwide that participate in Leapfrog’s annual voluntary Hospital Survey.
Solution providers and other innovative partners often ask Leapfrog for support in answering questions from hospital clients about Leapfrog’s programs. This training is designed to close that gap and arm experts with the information they need to provide value to their clients in a new way.
Participants will learn directly from Leapfrog’s Senior Vice President for Health Care Ratings Missy Danforth and in-house subject matter experts from the Ratings Team about key aspects of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey including reporting periods, measure specifications and criteria, data collection and documentation, public reporting, and data use.
“We are thrilled to launch the first-ever Certified Coach Training for health care consultants, solutions providers, and innovative partners to dive deep into the Leapfrog Hospital Survey,” said Missy Danforth. “It’s our aim that participants can demonstrate expertise in health care quality and safety while also bringing added value to their clients upon completion.”
Once participants pass the certification test, they will be awarded a Leapfrog Certified Coach Badge, which can be displayed in email signatures, on business cards, on LinkedIn, and in promotional and marketing materials. The Leapfrog Certified Coach designation applies to the individual and not the whole company so all customer facing sales and marketing leaders are encouraged to enroll. The cost of the training is $995 per person.
