About The Oklahoma Business Collective on Health (The Collective)
The Collective is an employer-led non-profit business coalition located in northeast Oklahoma. Our mission is to understand and improve the value of the healthcare our employees and families receive by focusing on the quality and cost-effectiveness of care. Our membership includes Oklahoma-based public and private employers, and industry stakeholders. We work together, encouraging and promoting meaningful exchange and to further knowledge and innovations in corporate health and wellness. Working on behalf of our employers, we are data-driven, innovation minded, and focused on quality, costs, and outcomes achieved through continuing education, advocacy and employer engagement.
In mid-2023, we began a collaboration with the Center for Health Systems Innovation at Oklahoma State University (OSU-CHSI). We became an innovation venture within OSU-CHSI. The original name, WellOK, was retired, and the coalition is now known as The Oklahoma Business Collective on Health, or The Collective. The Collective maintains a Board of Advisors comprised of seven representatives from employer-member companies. Positioned between OSU’s Spears School of Business and the Center for Health Sciences, we truly are at the intersection of business and health.
The Collective continues to support The Leapfrog Group and its mission of safety, quality, and transparency. This mission dovetails with our own and together, we create a stronger voice for real change in healthcare delivery.
