The Leapfrog Group was awarded the Silver Award for Lifetime Achievement in Public Leadership at the 2018 Health Value Awards last night.

The Health Value Awards were presented at the 2018 World Health Care Congress in Washington, D.C. at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel on Sunday, April 29, and were sponsored by World Congress, the Validation Institute, and the Health Rosetta Institute.
The awards, in its inaugural year, honors health care innovations, performance and high value in clinical and financial risk management. The goal of the awards is to shine a light on health care organizations that consistently deliver significant value and promote transparency.
There were more than 350 organizations and employers nominated in 13 categories for the awards this year. The categories include Outstanding Benefits Professional, Outstanding Benefits Broker or Consultant Leadership, Lifetime Achievement - Clinical Care, Lifetime Achievement - Health Benefit Innovation, Lifetime Achievement - Public Leadership, Small Employer Groups, Mid-sized Employer Groups, Large Employer Groups, Reinsurers, Commercial Insurers, Direct Care Provider, and Product/Program Provider.
