Thank you for supporting our efforts to make safety and quality information about ASCs more accessible to the public.
In response to the Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System and Ambulatory Surgical Center Payment System Proposed Rule, Leapfrog is strongly urging CMS to reverse its proposal and continue to make the “change the cataract improvement in visual function measure” mandatory and public. There are four million cataract surgeries in the U.S. annually and it’s critical that patients have access to patient-reported outcomes data like this when making decisions about their care. Our letter also comments on several other areas within the proposed rule.
