Leapfrog’s experts work with Medstat to develop a scoring algorithm for every safety and quality practice or ‘leap’ in the Leapfrog Quality and Safety Survey. This algorithm is applied to hospitals’ answers to individual questions in the survey which gives the results that are shown on our survey results web pages as circles.
